Vibia presented the new Tube light collection, designed by the designer Ichiro Iwasaki, at the Euroluce in 2019. The collection was awarded with the Best of Year Awards by the specialised magazine Interior Design in december 2019. Minimalist, round light shades of lacquered aluminium characterize the Tube ceiling lamps and suspensions. The shades' inner side is equipped with LEDs and a diffuser of polycarbonate, while the glare-free, warm white light is distributed directly downwards. As a ceiling lamp, Tube is an outstanding light for general illumination, while the Tube ceiling lamps direct the focussed light to the surfaces below. There is a choice of four simple colours, from light grey white to dark graphite grey, while the shades come with different diameters. The Tube lights' light intensity is dimmed via a DALI, Push or 1-10V interface. For this purpose, a 5 wires cable is necessary. Tube has more to offer than beautiful simple light fixtures. Tube is also a modular lighting system which adapts to individual light needs. It is possible to connect up to four light shades on horizontally and vertically running black steel tubes. The result are harmonious lighting landscapes which perfectly fit in the architecture. Tube's standard models are available in our online shop.
